As we reported last week, Monday is shaping up to be an all-out war in the Britney Spears case. Over control of the singer herself, that is.

Lawyers for Spears will try to convince a judge that she feels hatred and doesn’t trust her dad, and wants him removed as co-conservator.

As per a court order, Jamie Spears was awarded joint legal control (along with Lynne Spears) of Britney’s medical decisions, finances and more.

Here’s the way it’s gone down this weekend, according to TMZ:

Yesterday, a lawyer for Trope and Trope (Britney’s divorce / custody attorneys) went to UCLA to visit. After being there a short time, one of the UCLA doctors asked the attorney to leave, because the co-conservators objected to the visit.

Trope and Trope will appear in court today with attorney Adam Streisand, who specializes in estate law, to ask that the co-conservators be removed.

Brit’s attorneys will argue that Jamie Spears in particular is unable to act in this role, since Britney hates him, and Britney badly wants him out.

Sources say the firm will not object to a conservatorship for Britney Spears, but they will ask that a different conservator be appointed.

Rumor has it that the firm holds Sam Lutfi in high regard and has enjoyed a good relationship (!?) with him. Suffice it to say, Jamie Spears does not.

Here’s where it gets tricky for both Jamie Spears and the firm:

Britney Spears has expressed hatred towards her father - that, we know. Yet sources say she asked that both of her parents be at her bedside.

That could create problems for Trope and Trope firm when they go to court tomorrow and ask that Jamie Spears be 86′d as conservator.

Britney is bipolar and has wild mood swings. She can love someone and hate them in the same hour. So how can they prove she hates Jamie?

However, Britney has expressed deep animus toward her dad for a long time and to many people. Trope and Trope is putting together witnesses who will try and convince a judge that the troubled singer’s hatred and distrust of her parents is not only very genuine but consistent over time. Britney plans to contest her father Jamie’s appointment as the conservator of her estate in a hearing on Monday, February 4.

Britney, whose stay at the UCLA Medical Center was extended for another 14 days early Sunday, has been speaking to Trope and Trope, the law firm that has been handling her child custody dispute with Kevin Federline, using the payphone there. (Britney’s is not allowed the use of a cell phone).

While there is no indication that Britney will protest the extension of her hospital stay, the pop star who has been classified as ‘gravely disabled,’ does plan to contest her father’s appointment as a conservator of her estate.

When they appear in court Monday morning Trope and Trope will be assisted by another attorney, Adam Streisand, who specializes in estate law, reports TMZ.

Britney’s lawyer will not object to her estate being overseen by conservators but seek the replacement of Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet who were appointed by Commissioner Reva Goetz on Friday, pleading that Britney does not trust her father and “feels hatred” toward him.

To make their point the lawyers have compiled a long list of witnesses who will testify that Britney’s resentment towards her father runs long and deep which she has openly expressed to a large number of people over an extended period of time.

Sources close to Sam Lutfi exclusively reveal to PageSix.com that he was questioned yesterday by the LAPD about an alleged burglary that took place at Britney Spears’ home. Also tonight it was announced that Britney will stay in the hospital for a further 14 days.

Jamie and Lynne Spears arrived at Brit’s house on Friday night and noticed that “several personal items” were missing and called police, says our spy. Sam was voluntarily questioned by the cops and our source claims that he “isn’t a suspect.”

LAPD Media Relations could neither confirm nor deny that Sam was questioned in the investigation. However LAPD sources tell us that, “no one has been ruled out as a suspect, and this is an ongoing investigation.”

While it might be comforting to Brit that old pal Sam isnt looting her belongings, it remains she hasn’t seen or spoken to him since her father was granted conservatorship over her estate.

“Britney has had no contact with Sam since her dad became her conservator on Friday,” UCLA Medical Center insiders tell us.

“Britney is doing as well as can be expected. There is major relief from her family that she is finally getting the treatment she so desperately needs, and they will stop at nothing to protect her and make sure she continues to receive medical care,” the source adds.

The Los Angeles Police Department was called to the Beverly Hills home of Britney Spears Friday after her parents discovered valuable possessions belonging to the singer were missing, a source close to the singer tells Usmagazine.com.

The source says Spears’ father Jamie and mother Lynne were “shocked” to find that the valuable items “had been stolen” after they returned to the house following yesterday’s emergency hearing where Jamie won legal control over his daughter.

They then called police and filed a report.

Spears’ parents believe that the items were stolen after their daughter was taken to the UCLA Medical Center early Thursday morning.

Los Angeles Police officer Alex Martinez confirmed to Us that police had responded to a call at Spears’ house, but did not know what had transpired.

“The report is being processed through our system,” he said. “We do not have access to it.”

At Friday’s hearing, Jamie won temporary legal control over his daughter. He also has full control of her residence and can legally remove anyone who is staying there until the next hearing, on Monday.

A 21-day civil harassment restraining order was also granted against Sam Lutfi, who has been accusing Jamie and Lynne of poor parenting.
