Few word combinations scare me more than “Britney Spears” and “kids.” Perhaps “hatchets,” “kidnappers,” “machetes,” “wells,” and “swiftly moving rivers” - but that’s it. And Britney Spears is just as dangerous to kids as all those other things, and there is absolutely no exaggeration there. Really the only way she could be more dangerous to a kid is if Britney Spears used a hatchet and/or machete to kidnap a kid, tossed the weapons down a well and then jumped with the kid into a swiftly moving river. But the next most dangerous thing would be if Britney were to teach a children’s dance class. And while no one in their right mind would give Britney Spears a hatchet or a machete right now, apparently plenty of parents would give her access to their kids, which is just as dangerous.

Britney Spears’ business manager Howard Grossman is definitely on the fast track to the welfare office. The documents from last week’s emergency hearing have been released, and the courts have given Britney’s Dad and conservator Jamie Spears permission to fire Grossman. Reasons for the firing include Grossman allegedly ignoring the courts and convervator’s directions as to how to handle Ms. Spears. Grossman was told not to let her ass spend any money and not to meet her at the Beverly Hill Hotel, which is her home away from…ok, it’s her home. Grossman defied this order, and had Britney’s new Mercedes delivered to the hotel for her and met with her there. Grossman, perhaps realizing that his ship was about to run aground, pulled one of those “I’m taking you with me” manuevers. He testified that Britney’s bff Sam Lufti demanded some of Britney’s money from him in several e-mails. Grossman is also being fired for refusing to surrender those e-mails. Dude, I would want money too. I’m not paying for all that Starbucks and ripped fishnet tights myself. That shit adds up! Does Britney take T&E forms? Doubtful.

Without kids of her own to dance with, Britney Spears spent yesterday afternoon shakin’ it with a bunch of youngsters not too much older than Sean Preston.

The Britwreck, reports Usmagazine.com, got the five-year-olds grooving to the sounds of Madonna — “Material Girl,” in particular — while clad in fishnet stockings, a short skirt, and her fave brown boots. Apparently, says Millennium Dance Complex owner Robert Baker, she had to introduce herself to the kids.

Britney hasn’t seen her own children since January 3.

Kim Kardashian knows all about the glare of entertainment news reporters.

The mammoth-breasted socialite has been among these photographers’ favorite targets since she bent over for Ray J on video.

As such, Kim feels like she can relate with another celebrity that wears little clothing and is the object of the media’s affection: Britney Spears.

“I definitely do sympathize with Britney [Spears],” Kardashian said. “I think when you step outside of the house you know what you’re getting yourself into if you live in that world. So, I think that to a certain extent she can do things a little bit differently, but I think at some point you just give up and don’t care because it’s following you so much anyways, that you just don’t know how to get away from it.”

Britney Spears’ father sought to fire her business manager because he circumvented court orders by providing the pop star with a car after she was released from a psychiatric ward, according to court documents released Monday.

Manager Howard Grossman also violated court orders by arranging meetings for her when she was released from the hospital Wednesday against her parents’ wishes, said papers filed by attorneys for James Spears, her temporary conservator.

The 26-year-old pop star was seen cruising around Los Angeles later that day in a Mercedes-Benz with a swarm of paparazzi on her tail.

“The temporary co-conservators have lost all confidence in their ability to work with Mr. Grossman,” because of his conduct, attorneys for James Spears wrote in papers seeking to fire the manager. The papers were sealed until after Grossman was served.

Court Commissioner Reva Goetz gave Spears’ temporary conservators the right to fire Grossman after a closed-door hearing Thursday in which they aired the allegations in the documents.

Grossman would not immediately comment on the documents when reached by The Associated Press. He has refused to say whether he was fired.

Jeryll Cohen, attorney for James Spears, said Grossman had been told that two of the troubled star’s cars were to be delivered from a dealership to the singer’s father, who was named temporary conservator of his daughter and her estate after she was deemed unfit to care for herself and manage her finances.

Grossman said he had one of the Mercedeses delivered to the hotel because his client requested it.

“Spears asked him to, and he wanted to comply with her request because he wanted to ‘build her confidence in him,’” according to Cohen’s declaration.

The delivery of the car violated a court order giving James Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator of her estate, control of the singer’s assets.

Grossman also arranged for Spears to meet with attorney Adam Streisand at the Beverly Hills Hotel in violation of court orders preventing Spears from meeting with any lawyer without her father’s permission, according to the documents unsealed Monday.

Streisand unsuccessfully sought to represent Spears in court Feb. 4 when he argued that she told him by phone that she wanted her father removed as conservator. Goetz found that Spears lacked the capacity to hire her own lawyer.

Grossman said in an e-mail contained in the court records that some of the messages from Cohen were received after Britney Spears contacted him.

He said he rejected Spears’ request to give her a credit card. Under the terms of the conservatorship, he was not permitted to give Spears any money or credit cards.

The papers also claim Grossman refused to turn over e-mails from Sam Lutfi, Spears’ friend and sometime manager. Grossman said Lutfi demanded money in the e-mails.

Cohen said in a written declaration that Grossman did not comply with Lutfi’s demands, but that he “has since refused to provide copies of any such e-mails” to James Spears and his attorneys.

A restraining order was issued preventing Lutfi from contacting Spears. Goetz also ordered Spears not to have contact with Lutfi.

A hearing on the temporary conservatorship is scheduled for Thursday — the day it is set to expire.

Jeffrey Wexler, another attorney for James Spears, declined to comment.

Since entering the celebrity news business in June 2006, we’ve seen a lot. But somehow, the antics of Sam Lutfi continue to surprise us.

Britney Spears’ estranged pal and self-proclaimed manager made his first public appearance since a restraining order was issued against him at … Paris Hilton’s 27th birthday party at the L.A. club Area Saturday.

What’s more, he was spotted with Spears “cousin” Alli Sims. These two are really trying to milk their 15th minute of fame for all it’s worth.

Wearing a black and white sweater dress, black leggings and hot pink pumps, Sims, Britney Spears’ former assistant, arrived around midnight.

Shortly after she began singing the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams,” Sam Lutfi tapped Alli on the shoulder at 12:40 a.m. and said, “Come say hi.”

Sitting at Paris Hilton’s table, Lufti, in a black cap, tan-colored jacket, jeans and loafers was heard asking All Sims to go fetch him a drink.

“We’re dry over here. Can you get me a drink?” Lufti said.

What a dick.

Osama later cornered blogger Perez Hilton. “I wonder what he’s gonna write tomorrow,” he was overheard saying. All Sims replied, “I know.”

Meanwhile, Sam Lutfi is denying having any contact with Britney Spears since the restraining order was issued against him.

“Not true!” he told E! News when asked if he’s spoken to the pop star.

However, she was on the mind of Sam Lutfi. During Hilton’s party “at one point, they all toasted and cheered Britney,” a party-goer told E! News.

While out and about tonight, Britney (and her bodyguard) made a quick trip to a
Starbucks in Westwood for a bathroom break. She looked very upbeat before making her way in,
but once inside the usual chaos and madness began. Britney planned on dancing at Millennium tonight (there were paparazzi there waiting for her earlier in the evening), but opted not to go - February 10, 2008
