Today Britney Spears’ lawyers made it clear they want out.

But it’s not that easy. After meeting in chambers with Commissioner Scott Gordon, the matter was continued to February 19.

The gist: Gordon wants to make sure when Trope and Trope says bye bye Brit, someone is already in place to handle the case.

The Commish wants Trope and Trope to come back with a plan and wants to know specifically who’s coming in to rep Spears.

Sorrell Trope and an attorney for Kevin Federline emerged from the court session without comment. The matter will resume Tuesday.

Trope cited communication problems with Britney (seen here with mother Lynne Spears), as has Laura Wasser, his predecessor - and possible replacement.

After a shopping trip with mom and a rigorous dance workout at Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood yesterday, Britney Spears was visited by boyfriend Adnan Ghalib around 8:00 p.m. at her Summit Circle estate.

Adnan Ghalib must be on Jamie Spears’ good side - Britney’s pop can restrict who visits her, as her estate’s conservator - as the celebrity news photographer came through the security gates outside her place without incident.

Britney paparazzo butt boy, Adnan Ghalib, paid her a visit on Tuesday night at her house in The Summit gated community.

A visit that must have been pre-approved by poppa Jamie Spears, Brit’s conservator.

The folks must think Adnan isn’t as bad as Osama, and Brit Brit must still want him around.

As for those rumored that Ghalib and Spears got married in Mexico, not true.

Britney Spears is MARRIED! That is what the new cover of STAR magazine is screaming_ Britney Spears had apparently married Adnan in a private ceremony while in Mexico a few weeks back.

While the magazine itself has not been out, the New York Daily News quotes its own source this morning while reporting about Britney Spears’ marriage to Adnan:

The glossy says she “secretly wed” lens-lizard Adnan Ghalib during the visit - which is legally meaningless, as he has not yet divorced his previous wife, AzLynn Berry.

Star’s Candace Trunzo tells me: “Our source on this was not in Rosarito Beach at the ceremony, but is very familiar with the fact that [wedding] documents exist.”

More interestingly, the mag says Spears gave Ghalib $250,000 to grease AzLynn’s exit. She allegedly told her lawyers, who had imposed a grand-a-day spending limit, that she needed the cash for a new Mercedes.

Man, first we hear about Sam taking advantage of Britney for her money, now we hear about Adnan, where does this story end?

Britney Spears and her British boyfriend Adnan Ghalib recently married in secret, according to an American magazine.

The troubled star “secretly wed” Birmingham paparazzo Adnan during a trip to Mexico on 9 January, Star magazine claims.

A source told the publication: “While in Mexico, they went through a quickie marriage ceremony.”

The source apparently maintained: “When Britney recently accused her mother of ’sleeping with my husband’, it wasn’t Kevin she was talking about - it was Adnan!”

If true, the wedding was just days after Britney was first rushed to hospital, following an alarming stand-off with police at her home.

But even so, the magazine insists the marriage is not legal - because Adnan lied to the star and is actually still married to AzLynn Berry.

Britney Spears’ family wants the ailing pop star to take a break from showbiz and partying, says her cousin and BFF Alli Sims. However, Sims admits that Britney’s romance with photog Adnan Ghalib is going from strength to strength.

Sims spoke to the Mirror while at the VIP section of the Avalon nightclub in LA.

“Britney desperately wanted to come out with us to party tonight but we had to tell her ‘no’,” she revealed.

“She needs to rein herself in. She needs to take a break from the limelight - from showbiz - and just concentrate on getting herself better, and being with her family,” Sims added.

“Every day’s a struggle but Britney is getting a bit better day by day.

“I was with her today and, as a family, we take it in turns to be with her and watch over her 24/7. But it was just great that she was able to come out with us earlier -

Britney’s love for her children and desire to get back with them is helping to reign in her desire to go out and party, Sims explained:

“She is incredibly keen to go out and doesn’t understand when we tell her that it’s not a good idea.

“But, at the same time, she desperately wants to be with her boys and be a great mother - and we want her to be as well.”
