Of course, we will give them this much - the bloat, the ratty hair and the puffy face, along with the pink wig and trademark vadge of courage - are all gone.

In their place? A slimmer, fresh-faced Britney Spears with a shiny smile on her face and (dare we say) some determination in her step!

So how did she do it?

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears will wed fiance Casey Aldridge at her big sister Britney’s Serenity estate in the family’s native Louisiana.
The teenager ‘confirmed’ reports she and Aldridge, the father of her baby, had become engaged by wearing a T-shirt sporting the words ‘The Rumors Are True’ a day after reports surfaced last week (ends28Mar08).
And the couple has already set its wedding site, according to OK! magazine. The publication reports the wedding will take place at Britney’s country estate - and the pop superstar is expected to be among her sister’s bridesmaids.
But teenage Spears won’t be rushing down the aisle - she’s hoping to become an unmarried mum first.
A source says, “I expect she’ll want to wait at least several months to get her figure back so she can wear a beautiful wedding gown and then have her dream wedding.”

Little Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant and engages, but Momma Spears isn’t going to let this baby lose her money in divorce!

Lynne is (rightfully) said to be insisting that the couple sign a pre-nup.

A source tells In Touch Weekly, “The contract is already drawn up and ready to go. Lynne’s not sure marriage is a good idea, but she’ll go along with that if that’s what Jamie Lynn wants, as long as Casey signs the contract.”

A family friend says Lynne is worried about Casey and is aware of rumors that he’s cheater. He adds, “Lynne is keeping an eye on him. He doesn’t seem as committed to the relationship as Jamie Lynn.”

Momma spears is currently back in Kentwood to celebrate Jamie Lynne’s birthday this Friday.

The soon-to-be new mommy is turning 17. She’s almost old enough to vote!

After meeting each other over the Easter weekend, Britney Spears and former husband Kevin Federline plan to spend time together away from Hollywood, to see if there is still a spark left between them that can reignite their relationship.

“They saw each other on Easter,” a source told Star for its latest issue.

The meeting on March 23 went off very well.

“Kevin wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them,” a family friend tells Star. “When he suggested it to her, she told him she was ready to go anytime he was.”

Star had earlier reported that Britney’s father and conservator, Jamie Spears, has been encouraging reconciliation between the former couple.

Jamie, who was opposed to Britney’s marriage with Kevin in 2004, now has a different take on him, having seen Britney spiral out of control following her break up with Kevin.

He is convinced that Kevin would provide Britney the anchor that she desperately needs at this stage in her life.

Larry Rudolph, the one-time manager of Britney Spears who she famously ditched and publically blamed for pushing her into rehab, is speaking out about his newly mended relationship with the singer.

In a new interview with Extra, Rudolph reveals he hadn’t seen Britney in more than a year — until this past week. Larry paid a visit to his former client, who he says appears happier than ever.

“After spending a few days with her this past week, we didn’t talk about anything professional. I just sat and talked with her. I think she’s doing great. Her father is doing a great job with her and she’s in a great place right now.”

OK! was first to exclusively report that the two were communicating again. As for a Britney comeback, Rudolph says, “People love her. They really love her. People understand what she’s been through at this point. People want to see her come back. I think she’ll get it together. And I think she’ll have a huge career again. I think she’s going to make the biggest comeback in history.”

Kevin Federline’s lawyer has urged restraint when it comes to news that Britney Spears is already fully recovered.

Mark Vincent Kaplan says that with the help of Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, the Toxic star is heading in the right direction, but there’s still a long way to go.

“Jamie is doing a really good job,” Kaplan tells People magazine. “There was a situation and that seems to be stabilized. Does that mean she’s cured? Of course not.”

Kaplan says that Spears’ negative press has diminished noticeably, and that her successes — from her appearance on How I Met Your Mother to reports Tuesday that she is working again with former manager Larry Rudolph — are making news right now.

He says that Jamie Spears’ efforts to set Britney on the right track are “smart,” adding that, “Obviously before Jamie, it wasn’t a question of what was going to happen – it was a question of when.”

Meanwhile, Larry Rudolph says the star is “doing great”.

“I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being,” Rudolph said.

Larry — who is credited with discovering Spears and managing her career for 9 years — would not comment further, explaining, “this isn’t the time to talk business. This is a time for healing.”

“People close to Britney know that Larry is the best person for her,” a friend of the Spears family told Us Weekly. “He’s the man who can get her back on the right track career-wise.”

Farrah Fawcett got snooped on by a UCLA Medical Center employee last year, just like Britney Spears did after her stay there — and Farrah’s lawyers think the National Enquirer and other tabs may have gotten the dirt on her cancer as a result.

According to the L.A. Times, the Enquirer ran a story about Fawcett’s cancer returning last year, which appeared before Fawcett had even told her son and closest friends. The hospital fired the employee who had checked out Fawcett’s records, says a Times source.

Farrah’s lawyer didn’t say whether she would sue UCLA, but called the situation “ugly.” UCLA says it’s checked out any improper reviewing of Fawcett’s file, but didn’t find any breach.
