Britney Spears may have wowed fans with her cameo on CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, but she apparently still has something to prove to a few of the show’s cast members.
“I’m in the minority that feels our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed,” HIMYM star Neil Patrick Harris declared during a break from taping the sitcom. “I worry that if they start Will and Grace-ing us too much, that the show will suffer. We’re all really proud of the content of the show.”
Britney has been the most high-profile guest star to visit the set, following past appearances by Mandy Moore, Enrique Iglesias and Heidi Klum. Spears’ cameo as a bubbly, sweet receptionist created so much buzz that 10.6 million viewers tuned in to watch the March 24 episode — that’s roughly two million more than the sitcom averages per showing. Among the 18- to 49-year-old demographic, it was the most-watched episode of the series ever.

A $1,100 tip at an L.A. restaurant, a $2,000 tip at a Vegas strip club, and on and on and on. Kevin Federline’s spending, detailed in court documents, certainly has his critics buzzing over his apparently lavish lifestyle.
K-Fed’s attorney and confidant says, basically, that the haters need to look at the bigger picture before passing judgment on his client.
“He’s totally getting a bad rap here,” says Kaplan, who says that the “court of public opinion” is focusing on “a few expenditures.” “It seems like an unnecessary attempt to knock him when there’s really no basis to do so.”
Kaplan claims that even the most ridiculed charge on the list of K-Fed’s business expenses - a $2,000 Scores strip club tip - has an explanation.
“That was for a group of people for a friend’s bachelor party,” he said, adding that it wasn’t even a tip at all: “That’s just how the club categorized it.”

Britney Spears is a class act. Ok, let’s not go that far. But reports say that Brit watched the Idol Gives Back special last night with a two liter of Yoo-Hoo and a big bag of Funions beside her and a salty tear suddenly rolled down her cheek. She was reportedly so stricken by the plight of children in Africa with malaria that she donated $25,000.
“She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites,” a source said.
Britney got permission from her dad Jamie to donate, and put it on her American Express card. He’s got her ass on total lockdown.
That was sweet. I know a dude who got malaria while working in the Peace Corp. It is no joke. Say goodbye to your insides! Yikes.
So Britney really helped out. I can see her trying to work Google, though. “Now where in hell do I type this? My nails are sooooo raggedy. I got to get these shits done, yo! Maryland? Is that what they have? Baltimore crabs? I had those once. Daddy, what did Bono say? I can’t unnerstan’ his English accent. Keerist! Are we outta Funions? Naw, I’ll just put the crumbs in my hands. Look, Daddy, Funion moustache! Hee!”

Wearing a snug yellow t-shirt, Jamie Lynn Spears was out running errands in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana on Thursday afternoon (April 10).
The Zoey 101 star made a trip to Connie’s Jewelry & Gifts, where she reportedly was getting her engagement ring resized due to her swelling finger.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that the Nickelodeon star’s mother is pushing her daughter into getting a pre-nuptial agreement before marrying her 18-year-old babydaddy Casey Aldridge.
According to In Touch magazine, “Lynne Spears is worried the 17-year-old will lose all her earnings from TV show Zoey 101 if the relationship falls apart.”
A source told the magazine: “The contract is already drawn up and ready to go. Lynne’s not sure marriage is a good idea, but she’ll go along with that if that’s what Jamie Lynn wants - as long as Casey signs the contract.”
