In an exclusive statement, Neil Patrick Harris responds to the Associated Press article that suggested he would like Britney Spears banned from the set of his CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. “It seems that yesterday a writer took some quotes of mine and speculated an opinion about their intent. I write to you to set the record straight,” the actor says. “Britney did a great job on the show. She really did. In fact, we are all hoping that she returns rather soon to reprise her role as Abby.”

Spears guest starred as a lovestruck receptionist on the March 24 episode, which earned the series’ highest ratings in the 18-49 demographic in its three seasons on the air. The appearance also garnered remarkably strong reviews for the troubled pop star. In the AP story, however, Harris was quoted as saying, “I’m in the minority that our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed…. I worry that if they start Will & Grace-ing us too much, that the show will suffer.” Now he tells EW.com that he would welcome Spears back — because he has “great faith” in the show’s producers and writers. He also says, “My job description is to act, and I should really do just that.”

A report claims that Britney Spears’ ex-love Adnan Ghalib was attacked and stabbed Saturday night.

Adnan’s said to be doing OK after receiving medical attention for his wounds (a stab wound to his arm, facial lacerations and a black eye) according to the source.

Who hates Adnan that much? Was it a deranged BritBrit fanatic?

Who did he piss off????

If it’s true, we’re glad to hear that he’s ok.

But, until we see a police report or photographic proof, we’ll harbor some doubt that this attack actually happened.

Sounds like a publicity stunt! Adnan probably just wants a paycheck to sell his “story.”

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Alli Sims with her famous cousin, Britney Spears. Ever since papa Spears came into the picture, Alli has basically been MIA from Brit’s life. Hollyscoop caught up with Alli last night at the Kritik clothing bash at Lisa Kline where she talked to us about her upcoming album, which she says will have a country edge, and cousin of course her cousin Brit.

When asked if there will be an Alli/Britney duet she told Hollyscoop, “I don’t know you never know about anything like that.” She continued, “I am just glad to see that she’s doing good right now and I think that’s all she really needs to concentrate right now is her boys and stuff like that, they are so cute and they are getting so big.” When asked if she’s been in contact with the boys she said, “I haven’t seen them in awhile but I saw pictures, they are big…they are big boys now, they are not babies.”

So has Alli’s world been dull since Britney’s life stopped being so chaotic? Not at all, she said it’s good to see Britney getting her life back on track. Agreed!

Troubled Britney Spears has reportedly won back ex-husband Kevin Federline after buying him a $150,000 watch.

The pair — who have two children together, Sean Preston and Jayden James — decided to get their relationship back on-track following a secret easter break on the Hawaiian island of Maui, where they spent two days talking about becoming a family again with their two young sons.

When they returned from the romantic break, the Toxic star gave Kevin a belated 30th birthday gift – a stunning diamond encrusted Jacob and Co “Royal” watch.

Spears’ dad Jamie — who has control over the pop princess’ affairs — was in favor of the trip. “He personally approved the mini-vacation and birthday present purchases,” says a source close to the family.

“There is nothing more he and Brit’s mom Lynne would love than for her and Kevin to get back together.

“Kevin’s whole attitude to his ex-wife has changed. He can see she is responding to treatment for her bipolar disorder, staying sober and trying to rebuild her life and career.”

Kevin and Britney were married for three years.

Remember the good old days of Britney Spears driving aimlessly around Southern California, ignoring red lights, making illegal U-turns and abandoning her car on busy streets?

Well, it wasn’t that bad on Saturday night, but California Highway Patrol officers have confirmed that the pop princess was indeed involved in an automotive accident in Los Angeles last night.

The two-car accident occurred about 8:20 p.m. local time on the northbound side of I-405 at the 101 freeway, CHP Officer Patrick Kimball confirmed.

“Britney Spears was driving a white Mercedes on the 101 Freeway, when she struck the rear of a Nissan that was in front of her,” he said. “Britney Spears’ car collided into the rear of a Nissan, which in turn hit another car.”

According to eyewitnesses, Britney, who was driving at normal speeds, was caught off guard when the Nissan ahead of her braked to avoid traffic. Both the vehicles involved in the accident stopped immediately and the police arrived on the spot quickly.

The pop star was escorted by the police to a nearby fire station and administered a Breathalyzer test, on clearing which she was let off. Her body guard then drove her back to her Beverly Hills home.

Brit was spotted on a trip to B2V Borrelli-Vo salon in Hollywood, accompanied by a male driver and a second male bodyguard. She was a bit camera shy, opting to stay in her vehicle as much as possible.
