Following the accident, Britney had dinner at Italian hot spot Dominick’s in West Hollywood with her mother Lynne Spears and Lynne’s friend Jackie, and then was back at her Mulholland Drive-adjacent home within the Summit gated community by 11 P.M

They reportedly hit-up Dominick’s Restaurant and sat in the second booth near the entrance.

“She was in a great mood, talking and laughing a lot!” an on-looker says.

The ‘Toxic’ star — who dines at the eatery “all the time,” says the source — wore a flower dress and “was listening to her mother” talk.

“She was very passive,” the onlooker tells Us Weekly magazine. “You could tell that her mom really had control over the situation.

“It was a mom and daughter affair.”

The singer, 26, was involved in a three-car crash about 8:20 p.m Saturday on the northbound 405 at the 101 freeway.

“Spears was driving a white Mercedes on the 101 Freeway, when she struck the rear of a Nissan that was in front of her,” CHP Officer Patrick Kimball said. “Britney’s car collided into the rear of a Nissan, which in turn hit another car.”

After the accident, Spears’ bodyguard apologized, but Britney did not. She and the 21-year-old crash victim only exchanged a few words. Britney said that she was on the way to dinner with her mom, Lynne Spears.
