A.J. McLean believes the 26-year-old singer is finally putting her troubles behind her, and thinks her appearances on hit TV show ‘How I Met Your Mother’ will help.

He said: “I think her performance on the show will do well. I think as long as she can just keep her feet on the ground and just find herself again. She is a little lost but I know she can do it, I believe in her. I believe in anybody who wants to do something for themselves.”

A.J. has been trying to get in contact with the mother-of-two for a long time, but hasn’t been able to reach her to offer his support.

He added to BANG Showbiz: “I’ve reached out to her for over a year now, to sit and have a chat, and you know, if she wants to she will, if she doesn’t then she won’t. I think she is going to be fine - I really do.”

The Birmingham-born paparazzo is intending to sell a video he claims to have made with Spears during a trip to Mexico in January.

However, a source told the National Enquirer that the footage is not very explicit, saying: “She was wearing some cheap clothes that she bought down there in Rosarito.

The white house has recently released an updated list of existing domestic terrorist organisations.

As usual there were some surprises, after several years of effort in furthering the cause of global Jihad the animal liberation organisation known as PETA has been named for the first time.

Other honorable mention were the Film actors Guild for their actions in collaboration with North Korea and pop singer Britney Spears who has been linked to emerging Jihadist movement the Non-Muslim Entertainer’s Jihad and General Meanness Front or NMEJGMF.

The controversial singer has had links with existing members Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan for several years but hasn’t been linked to their activities until now. Her alleged terrorist activities haven’t been revealed but the general consensus is the it has something to do with her hit single “Hit me baby one more time”, seen as some as an encouragement for existing hardcore Jihadists to strike again.

Other surprises in the updated list were the Johnny Depp fan club and the Star Wars fans for the inclusion of Jedi as a religion group whose activities has be growing more vocal of late.

Announcement of Terrorist Organisation of the Year will be revealed at the Jihad awards in December.

While big sis Britney was splashing around in her bikini in Costa Rica this weekend, Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge were running errands in McComb, Mississippi. The couple did some shopping at Lowe’s and Sears before going through a car wash and stopping at McDonald’s. We all know those Spears girls love their fast food, and maybe the next time JL has a craving her big sister Britney will be back in town to help out with her niece’s arrival.

Britney Spears, who was vacationing in Costa Rica with Oscar winner Mel Gibson, her father Jamie Spears and her agent, Jason Trawick, arrived at Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport shortly after 7:30 p.m. PT.

It was just last week that the world got to see a happier Britney frolicking in the waves and riding ATVs along the beach as she continues to recover from her whirlwind year.

But all good things must come to an end. The pop star should be back home in Los Angeles as early as Monday morning, as her presence is required at an important meeting.

“She has a previously scheduled custody mediation meeting,” one insider confirms to OK!, adding that it’s highly unlikely the singer will call in sick to this gathering. “With the tight leash that her dad has on her, it would take an act of God for her to not be there.”

Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline are scheduled to meet in a private conference this week to hammer out the logistics of their custody agreement.

Brit and Mel departed for his family home in Costa Rica last Thursday. The two have apparently grown close since their first meeting over dinner at Romanov in L.A. back in March.

Britney Spears is still frolicking up and down the coast of Costa Rica, enjoying some ATV riding with her agent Jason Trawick. Britney and the gang are all hanging out at Mel Gibson’s place in Costa Rica and maybe I’m unclear as to what an “agent” actually does for a “client,” but I’m starting to get the impression that Jason is a very hands-on guy who takes his work representing Britney oh-so-seriously.

Meanwhile, Jamie Spears is probably out buying groceries or something because he has yet to be spotted on this Gibson-sponsored getaway. He probably took an ATV because the Spears certainly love them some all-terrain transportation.

The singer spoke out after pictures after pictures published this week showed the star smoking a cigarette with a suspiciously bloated stomach.

A source close to the family says that Britney has been struggling with her weight ever since she had her second son Jayden James, 20 months, and the medication has not helped.

A friend said: “They’re just going away for a few days to relax. Mel and his wife Robyn clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible.

“There are no expectations, there is no agenda. It’s simply an act of human kindness, one neighbour reaching out to another.”
